Stratis is a privately owned company and is not a subsidiary of any other organization. It offers a low-cost Windows-based, Operations, Scheduling and Billing software application, Visitrax™, supporting Private Duty, Medicare and Staffing service providers.  The company recently introduced its new, replacement product for Visitrax called SONETO which uses Microsoft Smart Client technology.  SONETO supports both web-based and in-house hosting models.  Stratis employs 20-25 people and is based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Stratis reports that it realizes 98% of revenues from home care software operations, 50% from new sales and on-going rentals, 35% from software maintenance fees, the rest from training, data conversion and custom software development. The company adds functions to its basic application through interfaces with products from other vendors: Santrax for telephony; HSS for OASIS Scanning; ADP, Paychex, Pensoft and QuickBooks for Payroll.

Stratis has 200 customers using Visitrax in 300 locations. The majority of the company’s customers are medium-sized agencies with 60% representing Private Duty and 40% offering Medicare services. Most (over 90%) are free-standing, for-profit organizations. The company reported spending 30% of revenues on research and development last year.

Stratis' SONETO product was recently selected by Home Instead Senior Care to replace it's proprietary system in over 600 franchise locations in North America. Omni Home Care with 40 Medicare offices has selected SONETO to replace Visitrax.
