HealthMEDX is a privately owned company and is not a subsidiary of any other organization. The company offers Web-based software solutions to support hospice, long-term care and rehab providers. The CareMEDX product suite includes patient / census management, clinical, billing and A/R management, scheduling, electronic medical record, ePrescribing, point of care, therapy, workflow, analytics, telephony and telehealth – with complete integration between each area.

HealthMEDX currently has home care customers at approximately 125 sites. Some customers install the company’s software on their own servers but the majority selects the remote-host option. The typical HealthMEDX customer is a medium-sized, Medicare-certified home care agency. Approximately half also offer Private Duty services and/or hospice care. Half operate more than one location and half are part of larger, chain-type healthcare organizations.
